Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 20, 2026
1. Data Sovereignty & Zero-Knowledge Architecture
FastSTNex is engineered with user privacy as our foundational tenet. When Zero-Knowledge mode is enabled, files are encrypted within your client browser using AES-256-GCM before transport. The decryption key is isolated to the URL hash fragment (#key=...), which web browsers never transmit to FastSTNex servers. We do not index, inspect, analyze, or monetize file contents.
2. Information We Collect
When you transfer files, we collect technical metadata strictly required to perform reliable delivery: file size, MIME type, cryptographic checksums, and delivery configuration (e.g. expiration timestamps, access limits, PIN hashes). We never require recipients to create accounts or reveal personal information to download files.
3. Cryptographic Storage & Automated Shredding
All transfers have an enforceable lifetime. By default, transfers expire after 24 hours to 7 days. Once a transfer expires or is manually revoked by the sender, all associated files, metadata, and temporary chunks are permanently shredded and unlinked from physical storage blocks.
4. Security Controls
Senders can restrict access to their transfers using optional PIN code protection (hashed via bcrypt with brute-force lockout safeguards), one-time email OTP verification, download count thresholds, and direct link revocation.
5. Contact & Data Inquiries
For privacy inquiries, compliance audit requests, or questions regarding data processing, contact our privacy team at privacy@faststnex.com.
